First few rounds of draft picks for the rehauled front office and fans seem to be excited as do the young draftees.

With the 6th selection in the '24 entry draft the Canucks went with Winger Cole Eiserman. Speaking with GM Blu saying, "Cole has a great finishing ability, someone we see being a dynamic goal scorer. He'll be headed to the NCAA to work on completing his overall game but we couldnt pass up a shot like that!" Esierman will join the Boston University Terriers in the 24-25 campaign.

Esierman appeared in 57 games for the US NTDP, tallying 58 goals and 31 assists for 89 points and set US NTDP record for career goals with 127 (SHEESH)

Next up was pick 9 and the office selected centre Cayden Lindstrom from the WHL.

"We really hoped Lindstrom would drop to us here at 9 he's a power forward with a nice frame and great instinct the injury set him back but he seemed right back to form at the combine and in limited action in the second half."

Lindstrom was impressive with Medicene Hat 46 goals in 32 games and a +66 Plus/Minus did we metnion hes 6'4 215lbs? (SHEEESH)

Last of the first round was pick 30 and with that pick the office went from Defenseman Alfons Freij(Fr-ay),

"Offense production and skating are just unreal from what our Euro Scouting saw, will be up with an SHL club soon and refining both ways of his game, but we think Alfons will project to be a steal in the coming years."

33 points in 40 games with in the Swedish Junior league not to shabby for a late pick forw- oh right HES A DEFENSEMAN! Were very intrugied by the career of Freij in the Blue and Green.

Last but not least! Pick 50 in the second round the Canucks had a cheeky idea up their sleeve, centre Kamil Bednarik from the USTP

"We joked at the table, lets get Eisermans teammate who set him up for all those goals, thinking he would go early in the 2nd maybe even late first. We lit up when we saw Bednarik still there couldnt pass him up. High IQ and great passing/awareness skills he's gonna go far."

Bednarik ammased 65 points in 61 games for the U18 team he will join buddy and fellow Canuck pick Eiserman at Boston U NCAA

Lots more to come in the next few weeks! But we could not be more excited for the future!
