New Canucks GM named

Times have been dark for your Vancouver Canucks. Having stars like Jake Guentzel and Nate MacKinnon comes with expectations for fans that, admittedly, may be too high. Adding to that the money on the team meeting the salary cap, there are easily expectations that a team would be able to compete, at least to a certain degree. Missing the playoffs by 8 points is an unacceptable situation. The team finished 20th in goals, 16th in goals against, 26th in power play, and finished as one of the more undisciplined teams in the league. 
We look forward to seeing what new GM Patrick Johnson does with this team moving forward. Once his head is wrapped around the team, we expect to see a lot of trading, whether to bolster the team for a playoff run or to completely dismantle the team and start a rebuild worthy for kings.
