Florida Panthers - 1 @ New Jersey Devils - 2

With a win in Game 2, the New Jersey Devils are halfway to punching their ticket to the Stanley Cup Final.

Frederik Andersen was at his best for the Panthers, turning aside 37 shots on the night, but it wasn't good enough to secure the win. At the other end of the ice, Jacob Markstrom stopped 26 shots. 

Markstrom has only allowed 14 goals in his last 8 games played, dating back to the beginning of the second round. He improved his playoff record to 10-4 and sits with a 1.69 GAA and .936 SP%.

Nikolaj Ehlers had 2 points in the game (1-1-2) and now has 5 points in the series. His powerplay goal in the second period opened the scoring. But just over two minutes later, Artemi Panarin banged in his 10th goal of the playoffs to lead all scorers. 

That score would hold through regulation, sending the two teams into overtime. The Panthers had momentum in the early going, putting 5 shots on Markstrom. But the Devils withstood the early push and it was Alexander Radulov who redirected a shot from Nik Ehlers and past Andersen for the win.
