Ducks Prospect List

2026-06-30

While the Anaheim Ducks have been a perpetual playoff team since GM VideoJ took over for the last 7 seasons. They have been able to maintain a steady pipeline of talent in their system. The team actually features several drafted and trained players in their roster today. Seth Jarvis was a target of VideoJ’s who is a solid top liner, looking for a breakout year. Simon Edvinsson was a pick that most were a bit leery of but has turned into a solid defender. Connor McMichael and Shane Pinto are young guns still trying to find their true identities, but both have the pedigree to be middle six mainstays for years to come. Finally Brock Faber was a huge hit, as he has become the defender of the future for the team. Let’s take a look what else we have in store with the next 9 big things on the Ducks Prospect List.

#9 Mathieu Cataford only had 13 points in 59 games in his first pro season in the AHL. However his point totals in the Q with 64 points in 54 games, and 90 in 65 the previous season 2 seasons can’t be lies. He is still only 21 and his decent size for a centre at 6 foot. We will see what he can do next season.

#8 Cole Chandler is a name to watch with 52 points in 62 games in the Q. He is the future of the Bruins!

#7 Elliot Groenewold is another real life Bruins prospect. On the back-end he had 20 points in 40 games in the NCAA.

#6 Vadim Moroz is a little older at 22, but has been ripping it up in the KHL. He had 29 points in 54 games and just signed his real life ELC.

#5 David Lewandowski is a name to watch. He had 65 points in 57 games for the Saskatoon Blades in the WHL. He played one game in the AHL and had an assist. Look for him to have a good first full year at the pro level.

#4 Luca Marelli had 16 points in 32 games this season with the Cleveland Monsters of the AHL. At 6’2 he is an all around defenseman and we are excited to see how next season goes.

#3 Leon Muggli turns 20 on July 9th. He was a 2nd rounder and played 27 games in the AHL and was a plus 4 Dman with 7 points. He has some developing to do but many compare him to Ray Bourque (and by many, I mean me, and by me, I mean this is the first time I have, and I am happy with that).

#2 Maxim Masse had a dominant year in the Q. Just turning 20 in April, this former 3rd rounder had 102 points, evenly split between goals and assists this passed season. He is also a big body at 6’3 and looks to carve out a power forward role in the NHL in a couple of years.

#1 Carter George is only 20 years old. Just turned 20 years old at that. He had a stellar year in the OHL, especially in the playoffs for the Soo Greyhounds. He finished 10 playoff games with a .910 save percentage and 2.36 goals against average. He just signed his Entry level contract and looks to play for the Ontario Reign this fall.
